Instead of simply observing, you become part of the landscape – pulled by a team of eager huskies. Whether it's through snow or along a summer trail, this adventure will stay with you.

Winter and summer – adventure in every season
During the winter season, you ride a sled through snow-covered forests and across wide open plains. In summer, you switch to a sturdy wagon with wheels and travel along green trails like the Kromvikvegen. At Telemark Husky Tour in Rauland (one hour from Vrådal), you can choose from a range of tours – from a one-hour introduction to a half-day or full-day adventure. Each tour includes clear instructions, expert guidance and plenty of time to connect with the dogs.

Accessible for everyone
No prior experience is needed to join. Professional guides – Merete and Espen – will teach you how to drive the sled or wagon and accompany you throughout the tour. You always ride in pairs, taking turns as driver and passenger. Children from age four are welcome as passengers; older kids can often participate more actively. All you need is a normal level of fitness and a sense of adventure.

More than just a ride
In addition to the ride, you can visit the kennel, meet all 17 huskies, help with feeding, and hear inspiring stories from the mushers. On longer tours, there’s a stop with a warm lunch or drink, depending on the season. Booking is required and must be made at least one day in advance. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for instructions and preparation.
